Twins like to share space. After sharing the womb for nine months, twins are used to sharing space. Hospitals nursing premature twins have found that if the twins are allowed to share an incubator they will find each other and gain weight faster than if kept apart. Twins may only enjoy being held together for the first few months. Babies will cue you when they are ready to be out of this position by starting to stretch their legs.
