1. Decide which breast you are going to nurse from and place baby over the same shoulder. |

2. Locate fabric section on the opposite shoulder from baby. Open pocket and gently lower baby into fabric section. |
|

3. Spread fabric so that it supports baby from shoulders to hollows of knees. Your hand or elbow will need to support baby's head. |
4. Lift the opposite fabric section and latch baby to breast. This fabric can be used to cover breast, if desired. |
|

5. Pull logo section or fabric panel of Moby carefully up over baby for added support. |

You and your child may prefer to nurse upright, while in the Hug Hold, as seen above. After nursing, reposition baby securely in the Moby. |
|
When baby has finished nursing, place baby high on your chest.
Try to keep baby’s body and head in a straight line when nursing. Think about keeping your bodies stomach-to-stomach while nursing.
At home, practice nursing in your Moby® Wrap without wearing a shirt. While out, try wearing nursing shirts or button-down shirts to avoid having to tuck and un-tuck your shirt from under the Moby® Wrap.
Remember that your child will become more comfortable with nursing with practice and that babies are wonderful at using cues to tell you what they need. Some babies do not like the fabric over their heads while nursing. Some babies prefer to nurse in an upright position like the Hug Hold. Be patient and be willing to try different positions.
